I was told something similar. Here's the thing. If the food is covering deep feelings of anger with each other, if you do not have a strong foundation, then those already existing issues will be exposed. Also, feeling are strong and very loud (for me they were) when not sedated by the quantity of food being eaten. If you do have a strong relationship, then you will weather this like all challenges. My hubby and I are fantastic 4 years later. Remember before you were married? Everyone told you that 50% of marriages ended in divorce? This is similar.

4 months after I had my band placed my husband decided he wanted a divorce....idk y wls has any effect on marriages but maybe there is some truth to it
