dreamynow 136 Posted September 2, 2017 Is anyone else eating smooth Peanut Butter to get the hungry edge off? It's the only thing that cuts my hunger. But maybe it's too many calories. I'm eating 1-2tbs the most. Other than that I'm eating 2oz of cottage cheese, hummus, refried Beans, sugar free pudding and Jello, cream of wheat, homemade puréed veggie Soup, and yogurt. My calories are about 200-350 a day. I'm day 11 post op. HW 289SW 284CW. 266 2 SpindleCity and Callisto reacted to this
Joann454 1,329 Posted September 2, 2017 I ate it because I couldn't do one more bite of yogurt. I have it occasionally with some cheese. Your calories seem really low. I wouldn't worry about the pb 2 dreamynow and Callisto reacted to this
Whogoesthere 13 Posted September 5, 2017 I am only nibbling on Peanut Butter because I get so mad at the fact I can't drink anything while I eat. I can't wait to be able to consume it better though. It definitely helps out my hunger.

Berry78 4,261 Posted September 6, 2017 At only 11 days postop, Peanut Butter is too thick to eat on its own. You should ask your team if you can add it to a Protein Shake.

It's on my meal list so I'm guessing it's ok. Doc says just to lick off spoon. 1 Berry78 reacted to this
Danny Paul 761 Posted September 26, 2017 I eat Peanut Butter also as it's on my meal plan. One teaspoon is 80 calories 3/12 grams Protein. I guess it's something I'm used to unlike pureed foods. I usually eat it as a snack. 1 dreamynow reacted to this
