BigViffer 3,544 Posted September 1, 2017 Does it have to be a supplement? Can you increase your food intake of foods rich in Iron? I have liver and onions about once a month and spinach pretty frequently for that exact reason. 1 Amy1234 reacted to this
Smooter 19 Posted September 1, 2017 Hello anyone can suggest Iron supplements? I have v low Hemoglobin... like 8.7 .. anyone else have the same problems ? This makes me feel v woozy all day! I'm taking Iron+C from a company called Celebrate. They are the chewies and are pineapple flavored. Not bad. Like a little Starburst. https://www.celebratevitamins.com/shop/individual-supplements/iron-soft-chews.html 2 angyplus5 and Amy1234 reacted to this

Yeah, you'll need a supplement until you are further out. 1 Amy1234 reacted to this
JennZ 2 Posted September 3, 2017 I have this same problem. I'm 10 days post op and had my level rechecked I'm up to 8.2 I believe. I'm currently taking Flintstones chewable vitamins with Iron but not sure I should take additional iron. I left a message for my nutritionist. pixystix0116 71 Posted September 5, 2017 I use Wellesse liquid Iron. It tastes a bit like berry flavored rust but it keeps my iron levels up. I found mine at Wal-mart, but you can get it through Amazon too. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Wellesse-Liquid-Fast-Absorbing-Iron-Supplement-Natural-Berry-Flavor-16-oz/786271169 https://www.amazon.com/WELLESSE-Liquid-Mineral-Supplement-Natural/dp/B006LTCAU2/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1504616599&sr=8-1&keywords=wellesse+liquid+iron Hope this helps!
