I guess it depends on the individual when it comes to those issues! I have been diabetic for years & have not had any of those issues & now even after my WLS (gastric sleeve) I continue have none! I wish all the best for those of you who do!

Some people are "nose blind" to their own body odor and one's family can be also. Let a close friend or family member sniff you who doesn't live with you nor is frequently exposed to you. Good luck with the final decision, OP!
