mikey701 27 Posted August 29, 2017 Maybe its just me but adding ice to one of the shakes definitely makes it easier to handle! It feels like a treat almost. I make all 3 shakes for the day in morning and by time I get to third one its sludgy lol so i add splash of milk and ice and it is pretty tasty just felt like sharing . 4 FluffyChix, Clementine Sky, Deleted Account and 1 other reacted to this
alcn1derlnd 146 Posted August 29, 2017 I actually have issues with cold foods now. I drink my Protein Shakes at room temp. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 225.

OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted August 30, 2017 Immediately post-op anything cold felt like daggers to me. I never had an issue with the taste of Protein Shakes. The temp bothered me more than anything. 2 Strivingforbetter and Apple1 reacted to this
Strivingforbetter 247 Posted August 30, 2017 Wasn't Water the biggest killer post-op? Ugh! Man, that hurt. I could drink most things, but when I sipped water, it felt like knives were in my stomach. I like my Protein Shakes over ice now too, but there's no way I could do that immediately post-op.

It was pretty much the best thing ever during the liver shrinking diet. 6 days Post-Op: I'm fairly nervous about it. I may wait until I get the okay for puree's. 2 FluffyChix and Shedding4me reacted to this
