I don't know what to do

Recommended Posts

Hello lovelies,

Long time no see, it's been awhile when I was online on this app. And lots have happend.

I had an appointment today with a new surgeon at a second hospital.

Because the first hospital resfused to help me. They magically came up with a conclusion that I have an eating disorder. Which is apparent otherwise I wouldn't be obese. But not an eating disorder where I'm stuffing my face and purge. So they're execrating this claims and I disagree.

But anyway this second hospital wants to look in their documents about me and I'm afraid they will say the same thing.

They already send me to a nutritionist and I have to follow that for 1-3 months and then come back to hear a yes or a no from them.

I don't know what to expect. I'm feeling so disgusting and low. I have the right to this surgery , I pay my insurance every month with no delay. And now I want my right , they make it this difficult? I know the risks of the surgery and that it is a life changing experience. But they make it so hard for me.

I'm so pissed , really mad. Does anybody else have this experience?

My English isn't very good I apologize

I hope to hear from you soon.

Do you have a copy of what exactly was said in the previous documents?

Perhaps your PCP can a write a letter stating that you don't have an eating disorder.

If the second hospital says the same thing, then you need to try and work with them to get treated for the supposed eating disorder (work with a psychologist), then maybe once the psychologist says you are doing well, then they can go ahead and do the surgery.

Oh I never thought of that. I could ask him to write a letter from me stating I don't have an eating disorder. It's worth the asking ,
They already have my documents which was a shock to me because I never gave my consent. So that was weird to me. I thought they needed my consent before having those documents.

Thanks for your suggestion and your reply, means a lot to me

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's gonna be the route to take.
Switching hospitals doesn't resolve the issue with them claiming things about me. They're in control

Many people obese and have an eating disorder, i am not sure what you even mean by that comment, perhaps you need to do some educating, as you may disagree but they have had alot of training/studying on this subject, so perhaps ask them what made them think this, and see if it makes sense to you .

Why do they think you have an eating disorder? Many people go to them everyday every year, and its not like every single person gets diagnosed with an eating disorder, so you must have an idea why they said you had one.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
