3mo post op- 100lbs down, 100 more to lose

Recommended Posts

Today is my 3 month post op anniversary and ive hit 100 pounds down fron the start of this WL journey. I am halfway there and am struggling with the idea that I'm able to lose more weight. 100 is a LOT to lose, but I have been at this weight before (5 years ago) and was never able to get lower. So I'm posting progress pics to remind myself 2 things. 1) I've come a long way and 2) im not who I was...I will go further

Top row - HW 328 on 02/09/17

Mid row - SW 271 on 05/24/04

Last row - CW 228

You are doing great girl!! I started my journey of massive weight loss for a third time when I had my RYN (first time lost 70lbs with WW, second lost 70lbs with lap band). Both previous times I managed to get to about 205ish, never under 200. Two points on this for you:
1. When I was near this weight before my goal was 180-185 and so 200 was never enough. I could not be happy there. Both times it was a struggle to even get that low. So this time I said I would be happy at 200 if that is where my body wants to be.
2. With This surgery everything has been so much easier. When I got to 205 I knew I'd surpass it and I did.
At 197 I decided to have a lower body lift (that was 9 days ago). They took off 15lbs!! I'm now 190 and expect to loss more due to swelling. I will hit my goal and this time have a massive inventive to keep it off!

Good luck to you on the rest of your journey! You go this!!
