jillybean 0 Posted October 14, 2007 I was banded on July 30th of this year and have had two fills so far. I'm up to 1.4cc's and do feel some restriction. I have only lost 20 or so pounds and most of that was in the first month. Is this normal? Does it take a while to speed it up a bit? I feel like the surgery wasn't worth it for 20 pounds. Seems like the weight just does not want to budge anymore. I do have bouts where I PB also so I think there is enough of a fill, but I don't always feel full. I feel like the food is going down just as fast, but sometimes getting stuck? Any help or advice is welcome :Banane10: Thanks
TrimKim 0 Posted October 14, 2007 Jillybean- I know what you mean about the slow weight loss. Since I started regular foods I haven't lost anything! But I have also been sick with chest cold and have not walked or excercised. I'm feeling better so will start walking again with the hope the I will drop some more weight. I have had one fill at 2 ccs and feel little to no restriction, but I am trying really hard to not overeat. The band is helping if only because I don't feel hungry, but I still think I can eat more that I would like. Drinking lots of Water helps too. I am going to start logging all my calories to see if I am perhaps eating more that I thought. If that's the case I will cut back and get back on track. Hope that helps you. Good luck to you. jillybean 0 Posted October 15, 2007 Thanks guys, I guess I'll have to really take a look at what I'm eating, I know I'm eating a lot less, but maybe it's still not enough! Thanks for the page former bubble butt hee hee. It looks like it will be a great help. I guess we all get frustrated with it at times.
