gnomelover 10 Posted August 17, 2017 (edited) Was sleeved March 30th. I did great at first. I started at 265, weighed 258 at surgery. I'm at 215 and actually gaining. I'm having trouble avoiding all the foods I shouldn't eat because they are all over my kitchen and pantry. I know that's no excuse. Just today I started writing down what I'm eating again. I'm making it to the gym about 3 times a week. The problem is, I was eating almost normally again. Small amounts, sure, but normally. My hubby was in the hospital all of July, and when he came home, he needed lots of care. Sounds like an excuse, but I was so focused on him, I just ate small amounts and didn't worry about what. Now I have to reboot. I'm disappointed in myself. I know what I need to do, but it's harder now. But today has been a success! I'm doing this one meal at a time. I made the Sleeve Surgery in September... I believe if I don't stop myself from eating random foods I'll follow your steps... Thanks for the notes you wrote... made me realize what I might face...Wish you all the best... it is annoying NOT to eat what we like especially if we have it between our hands...You did good now... changed your faily habits, went to the Gym... keep on I advise you, if you nake your family eat healthy and make effect on what's available in your house (food) it will help you and your family a lot.You have all my support, please keep us updated.Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
gnomelover 10 Posted August 18, 2017 My family includes my hubby, who weighs 126 and NEEDS to eat right now. Anything he can. My mom, who is a junk food queen, and my hubby's cousin, who is a vegan who Snacks all the time! I'm buying a refrigerator for my office so I can avoid the one in the kitchen, I decided while on the treadmill. I'm working on this! I am. 2 ProudGrammy and Missy161 reacted to this
Missy161 395 Posted August 18, 2017 Getting a separate fridge is a great idea. I hear you about having food around. I went to natural grocers today to get some healthy Snacks because I just want to graze! I'm realizing how much of my eating is boredom and stress. I'm only 8 weeks out and I know I can't let myself go down the slippery slope.Mich WHw 223, SW 217 CW 192 GW 135 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
