Allie_Shannon 15 Posted August 17, 2017 I'm on my 3rd day post op. Only had a little nausea yesterday. I had a lot of pain up until today. Today it just comes and goes which is a lot better then the past two days. I do at times feel like my stomachs is cramping or contracting so to speak. It kinda grips me for a minute then disappears. Hopefully this will end soon. I am able to hold down most liquids which I'm thankful for!
Fatgirl56 35 Posted August 17, 2017 Congratulations! I too had surgery Aug 15th. Havent had pain to speak of just very sore but I have had a lot of nausea. My insurance wouldn't pay for Zofran so I had to buy it out of pocket. Something is wrong when insurance will pay for narcotic pain killers but not antinausea meds. 2 southernbellair79 and Allie_Shannon reacted to this
Allie_Shannon 15 Posted August 18, 2017 Yes agree! I only had nausea twice but the pain was awful. It has gotten better each today. Today it just seems I have muscle spasms every so often. Like a pain will come on but go away a few seconds later. Almost like a contraction lol. Have you experienced this?
Fatgirl56 35 Posted August 18, 2017 Yes, similar to a contraction. It has the same feeling as when you drink a cold bottle of Water very fast.....burning sensation. I worry I'm not getting enough fluids in, don't want to dehydrate.....I keep trying to sip, sip, sip.
