eribble72 0 Posted August 16, 2017 Hello, I had my sleeve done 8/2/17. Today is my second week. I don't know what I should or should not be feeling. I don't have any pain and have been sticking to the required plan. I meet with my doctor tomorrow to get cleared to go back to work. I have the luxury to take another week but unsure what I should do. I want to go to work but still get extremely tired with exertion. I am a Medical Assistant and always on the go at work. How long did you take off from work?

apu 84 Posted August 16, 2017 I also had my sleeve done on August 2nd. I work in medicine, full time primary care practice and emergency work on weekends. I was back to work 6 days post op. My surgeon told me to go back whenever I feel ready. Two weeks out I feel fantastic with easily twice the energy I had pre weight loss. I walked 3 km on my break this morning, will try again this evening. Obviously everyone is different and your mileage may vary. 2 eribble72 and ProudGrammy reacted to this
sleevedshereen 524 Posted August 16, 2017 I'm only in Human Resources so I"m at a desk all day but I was out for a week and went back, but found that I barely had energy at work so I took an extra week off. If I had the PTO I would've taken one more week off to be fully myself 1 eribble72 reacted to this
