JKC2016 82 Posted August 16, 2017 Try topping your fish with something moist. Salsa, sour cream or yogurt, stewed veggies. Goes down much easier. Yum. 1 Berry78 reacted to this
Berry78 4,261 Posted August 16, 2017 Thanks for the tip I picked up the scale for $20 from a kitchen supply outlet store. It is worth the couple extra bucks.. does grams too! 2 southernbellair79 and MochaKelly reacted to this

I'm worried something is wrong with me3 weeks post op and it feels like I'm getting my Water Soups and egg salad down no problemsLapband placed: 8/2011Lapband removed: 3/2017VSG: 8/2/2017 1 Dashofpixiedust8 reacted to this
Berry78 4,261 Posted August 23, 2017 Dense meat is a whole other ballgame. I can eat 6-8 ounces of chili and things like that. Solid meat.. 3.5 ounces is my max. And that is only if I haven't eaten for a while. And if I eat that much meat, there isn't room for even a bite of veggies. So I eat them separately. Keep in mind I'm 5 months out. Solid meat shouldn't be on your agenda until around 8 weeks out. (And expect to get full on 1-2 ounces when you get there). 1 mustanglauri reacted to this

I was aproved for full normal food diet when my surgeon saw me at 5 weeks. I am 7 weeks post and loving normal food it is fully on my agenda lol but certainly was not at 3 weeks. Togunrinde 36 Posted August 26, 2017 I did end up almost finishing one of them! For context, this is one large egg puréed and split between two mini muffin cups! And it tasted great, went down easy, stayed down. Might have the other one for breakfast tomorrow! 3 Kat410, Berry78 and ThickGirl5683 reacted to this
