What is considered a fever?

My temp is up to 99.7. Should I be concerned? I'm post-op day 4.

The first week, a slightly elevated temp is normal. Anything over 100.5, run by your doc. If the low grade fever continues past day 8, mention it to your doc. If you start feeling bad... yep, mention it your doc.

A temp of 102 or higher is go to the ER.

I ran a low grade fever post op as well, liquid Tylenol helped

The slight fever is your bodies natural defense mechanism to the surgery.... Anything over 100.5 call your Dr otherwise fairly normal and should return to your normal baseline within a few more days
