lovemylab13 16 Posted August 13, 2017 Hey all. My name is Deb. I'm from Colorado. I just started this journey. I just went for my first dietician visit and go for my psychological eval in a couple weeks. Kinda nervous. Would like to know how everyone is doing.Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app 2 ProudGrammy and Hannah83 reacted to this

lovemylab13 16 Posted August 13, 2017 Thank you painter88. I had been ready about the journey and I can tell there is quite a bit of support here. I am grateful. I don't have much of a support system except for my daughter who live in another state. I'm excited to get to know everyone.Sent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

hmills653 365 Posted August 13, 2017 Hello. I had sleeve on May 31. So glad I did. I'm feeling great and alot more active. I've had 3 people at work approach me with questions saying they've considered the surgery but didn't know anyone who went through it. I'm glad I did. 2 ProudGrammy and Hannah83 reacted to this

mw2543 23 Posted September 29, 2017 Hi. I am scheduled for November 2. I was looking for a weight loss clinic and bumped into this. It cost about the same and is permanent. I can’t wait.

lovemylab13 16 Posted January 6, 2018 Hey all. I have a surgery date of Jan 18. I just recently lost my job. I have insurance thru my severance until March. I'm worried about follow up appts and and also not having a nutritionist. Kinda worried. I also don't have a support system, except everyone on here (thank goodness). I was wondering if I should wait to have the surgery later. I am having sleeve done. I'm 56, 5'3" 212 with HB,cholesterol, gerd, mild sleep apnea, arthritis. I also have hashimotos. I am to start the pre op diet tomorrow. I could use some input. TIASent from my SM-G930V using BariatricPal mobile app
abefroman329 704 Posted January 6, 2018 Sorry to hear that! Usually you don’t have to pay for follow up appts related to the surgery. Those are covered in the cost of the surgery. So that’s one less thing to worry about.

Danny Paul 761 Posted January 7, 2018 Get the surgery sooner than later. It will help with your health and that in itself should be a prime motivator.Sent from my SM-T350 using BariatricPal mobile app
