focusonthefuture 14 Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) It should be in the paperwork somewhere, or you can call the surgeon's office. Mine was 10 pounds for four weeks and then no weight restriction afterwards, no gym restrictions after four weeks either. Myaiku_Kuraitani 245 Posted August 13, 2017 I'd wait another two weeks but maybe you should call your surgeon's office to be sure.----------------------------HW- 273Pre-op Wt- 230SW- 226CW- 174GW- 130Ht- 5'2.5"DOS- April 26th, 2017"Only those who try will become." ~FFX
travelergirl 142 Posted August 13, 2017 Check with surgeon.I was cleared at 2 weeks which I thought was crazy. She said if something hurts then stop doing it.I still stayed away from gym and my trainer until week 7.I did do some easy DVD workouts, walking, and a little bit of resistance bands at home starting about week 4.Sent from my SM-G920V using BariatricPal mobile app

Pakko 76 Posted August 16, 2017 Well ty all for your feedback, i just got back from an appointment qith my surgeon and nutriologist, they said i can start going to the gym, but they dont want me doing exercises that are dead weight or squats with weight, they told me i can do any exercise as long as it involves a "bench"Sent from my SM-N920C using BariatricPal mobile app 1 akaet reacted to this
