blessed grammy 14 Posted August 12, 2017 I had the band in June 2012, and started the process of band to Sleeve revision in April. In May, I had the EGD done and found out that my band has slipped. I was told that I had to lose 17 pounds before they would schedule my surgery, and I am having a REALLY hard time losing it. I'm trying.... I'm trying very hard actually, but it's just not coming off like I need it to. So far I have lost 9 1/2 pounds, and have 7 1/2 left to go. My next weigh in is the 21st, and I'm trying so hard to hit my goal so that they will schedule my surgery. I'm eating an average of 20 - 25 grams of carbs per day, and average of 1200 - 1300 calories per day, and trying to walk every day (I was just released last week from going to physical therapy twice a week for my back). ANY and ALL advice on how to hit my goal is VERY much appreciated!! Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

I haven't had any fruit, juice, bread, Pasta, or hardly even any dairy. I drink a lot of crystal light, but I do need to get more Water in. I have 3 cups of coffee in the mornings, then crystal light the rest of the day, other than a Protein Shake for lunch. This weight just doesn't want to come off... 🙁Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

Berry78 4,261 Posted August 12, 2017 You may have some luck by having a "splurge" day. Take 1 day and eat a bunch of sweet potatoes and Beans. Then follow it up with a strict liquid diet for the rest of the week. 3 Protein Shakes plus a pint of low sodium v8 each day. Lots of Water (and keep your coffee). Sometimes we just have to shock the system. 1 blessed grammy reacted to this
