BiggSixxFizzle 0 Posted August 12, 2017 I am 2 weeks out of my gastric bypass surgery and I'm just wondering is this diet super hard because I'm having such a hard time with eating the Soups and the cellos and drinking the Water I need sustenance something that's filling you know I mean all the stuff is filling but it's not in my mind my appetite has not lessened but in my stomach it has so I'm trying to equate what I can eat what I can't eat like I know. Foods saw food tube stuff like that but I can't eat anymore cream of whatever please ideas help me. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Berry78 4,261 Posted August 12, 2017 What you are experiencing we refer to as "head hunger". Your belly is full, but your mind wants something more or something else. Once you are on a regular diet, you'll be getting back to chewing and that helps. In the meantime, spend some thoughtful moments with your mind, thinking about how you got to this point, and what you need to do going forward. Big picture thinking.
