Did i break something?? i feel so sore lower stomach almost in my overies too lol what a nightmare.

i emailed my nurse to say my lower tummy hurts but did not give info.

soo embarrased dont say this thing iev done might cause a leak can you imagine, ive followed the plan no one ever mentioned about sexual activity as maybe because im singl i dont know but i didnt think i had to wait for that. i felt fine before this. :(

Go to the ER. Don't be embarassed by your body or sexual activity - we are human. Tell them exactly how you feel and where, believe me the ER has heard things my imagination could not dream up.

The ER oh no! " Hi I need emergency help i orgasmed and then smething contracted and i broke something lol.

wednesday is not far away but what could have happened? and its 1.29pm and still my lower tummy hurts, and i have felt perfect before now.

and your right we are human but im pretty shy about this stuff.

did your dr say how long without sexual activity? i wonder why my surgeon mentioned nothing about it . i feel so horrible but no surery was done with my lower stomach so i just am confused.

thanks for replying :) just wondered if anyone else experianced this

This is way below where your surgery was, so my guess is they're unrelated. I was active at 5 weeks and just had to do positions that avoided my belly bc of tenderness. Does it feel like sore lower abdominal muscles? I really don't think you could go through that end and give yourself a leak. Don't go to the ER unless it's an emergency and for that don't go to your closest most frequented ER. Trust me on that as a nurse. Tell your surgeon. You don't have to say specifics just say you had engaged in sexual activity and now this is what you're feeling and aren't sure if the two are related.

Thanks for the reply, say if you ate the wrong food and youd get a horrible pain in your lower stomach, and feeling sick. when it happened my lower stomach contracted and just has not stopped hurting, and will see what they say wednesday i cant eat as feel so sick. i feel really exausted and sore .

Mmmmm. Can't say about the tummy, but re: "self-molestation..." I'd say you're only a few hours away from going blind...Just sayin'... ;)

I had no restrictions on sexual activity and engaged at maybe 10 days, so it's not contraindicated. Don't worry about that part of it.

And you don't need to say what kind of sexual activity you engaged in! Just tell them an orgasm caused a cramp/spasm/pull. My guess is it's just that, a muscle cramp/tear/pull... which can be totally painful and hang around for weeks. But it's not likely related to surgery.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
