Proper Sugar Free popsicles

Recommended Posts

I am in need of recommendations for proper sugar free popsicle brands. You know the ones without the sugar or sugar alcohols? I have a friend shopping for me and it's hard to find the "right" sugar free as directed by my surgeon and nutritionist.

I can't have anything with aspartame, so I can't have Popsicle brand, but one that is very low calories & all is Outshine ice pops that look the same. The other thing that I did is, I drink Propel Water & I added some Crush or Kool Aid Water Enhancer, and made ice pops out of them. I told my nutrition team & they were fine with that since the water enhancer has no calories & also has no aspartame.

How about no sugar added fudgsicles or halo top ice cream?

Halo Top I LOVE, the only problem I found with that is that when you leave it sit in the freezer for a bit after opening it, that when you open it again it has receded to about 1/2 a container & it tastes funny.

As for no sugar added fudgesicles, the popsicle brand ones have aspartame. If there's a brand out there without aspartame that I can have PLEASE let me know, I want to try it!

Yeah I’ve been also eating the Outshine Brand sugar free popsicles. They just don’t have much flavor and are tiny.

I had Darla J mentioned on her post..

However, you can also do your own with natural fruit (low in sugar).

An idea would be "hibiscus", buy dried hibiscus, broil Water and let hibiscus seat for 10 min, drain and put them on freeze..
