OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted August 30, 2017 @Lovergurl Between dense Protein. I am pretty unique on the forum based on most posts I read for eating like this, but it works for me. I also don't eat with other people that often since I live alone, so here is no one commenting on the fact I am just eating a pork chop 1 Lovergurl reacted to this

Honestly, can sometimes come across like that, especially in a chat forum where only "typing" is involved. I know, for myself, things have been taken the wrong way, when, I only meant to help. Anyone posting in this forum means only to 'help', imho. Hope that helps. 1 heycrystal2052 reacted to this
AnA92212 577 Posted September 1, 2017 We are not able to control what happens to us in life. So, I always try to start with what I can control. I can control what I put into my body. I can control my activities. So, go back to the basics with the food. See a nutritionist and have them help. Start walking or continue your exercise program. Therapy isn't out of the question. I was an emotional eater before. Luckily, I have found that since surgery food really isn't a comfort for me. I still enjoy it, but not the soul comfort it once was. If you think you can be helped by therapy, then by all means, do it. Losing loved ones, a job, etc. is extremely tough. You sometimes can only take one day at a time, or even one moment at a time.
