Jerry C 0 Posted August 2, 2017 I just had the gastric sleeve procedure done yesterday (July 31) and my shoulders are killing me from the gas pumped into my abdomen. I was told my shoulder my be sore afterward, but I wasn't expecting it to be this bad. What's even worse is my diaphragm from being expanded for so long.Did anybody else experience this? Is there anything you can do about it?

linziyo 6 Posted August 2, 2017 I just had my surgery yesterday as well. Im still taking the pain medication and walking as much as I can. I definitely can feel the gas pain though throughout my upper chest, shoulders and back. Ive heard other people mention that gas-x may help but I dont have any yet. Hoping tomorrow will be a bit better for the both of us!
qy22 30 Posted August 2, 2017 I was also sleeved on July 31st. I'm on the same boat as you guys. My shoulders chest and back are so sore. I have so much gas it hurts. I'm taking Tylenol for pain and walking as much as I can.Sent from my SM-G920T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

erint93 12 Posted August 2, 2017 I was also sleeved the 31st and I'm so sore and filled with so much gas. I'm at home and trying to walk every hour but I'm not sleeping well so I tire very easily. A lot of people say it's 4 or 5 days for a lot of the pain to dissipate but I'm just so aggravated and impatient I needed to complain somewhere because I feel bad for my family members lol
