you guys are too funny! Big Butt Desk Job. well, I'm testimony that you don't have to have a big butt desk job to have a big butt!!! I'm looking forward to getting rid of the BB. I'm not going to dwell on the post op uncomfortableness (is that a word?). I know it's only a temporary thing. But focus my attention to my new life and new diet. thanks to all you veterans for your responses and insight! it helps alot!

I too have a "bb job" I am hoping that I can go back after 4 days. The only problem is that It can, at times, become a very physically demanding job. ( running and becomming physically involved) I will let you know.

Just be good to your band. Make sure you have someone around to pamper you. Give yourself a break and take it easy till you feel well.

I was just banded 12/28. I thought I would be back to work within a week. No such luck! By day 6 I wasn't feeling as good as I had the day after surgery, and by day 7 I had absolutely no energy at all! I'm going back to work, finally, tomorrow!

Other than the energy, things have been pretty good!
