raynay05 56 Posted July 28, 2017 Day of surgery I was 258.8, next day when I was released I was 266. Today I am 3 days post op and I'm at 261. I am still on full liquids so I'm confused how I haven't lost back to at least my day of surgery weight. Has anyone else had this happen? Joann454 1,329 Posted July 28, 2017 Yep. So many of us. You're full of IV fluids and swollen. I urge you to stay off the scale for the next two weeks. I lost very little during that time. Get your Water, Protein, and Vitamins in. Walk, rest, and be good to yourself. You will lose weight! Now is for healing.
fleab123 13 Posted July 29, 2017 I am 4 days post op. Before surgery was 264, after surgery 272 and now only back down to 267. I am not going to weigh myself again for another week because it is depressing! Then I read on other posts that people are losing 10, 11 lbs in their first WEEK! I am just going to trust what the experienced people say here and hope for the best! 2 ts81096 and Joann454 reacted to this
Jdserra 78 Posted July 29, 2017 Don't weigh yourself till the end of the 1st month. You're going to hit the 3week stall and it's only going to bother you even more. Wait it out. You'll be happy with the outcome in the end!Sent from my SM-J700T using BariatricPal mobile app 1 Greensleevie reacted to this

CocoNina 210 Posted July 31, 2017 Your insides are still swollen & anesthesia usually keep everything in (your stool & urine), on top of medication & fluids from the hospital. Don't get discouraged, & give yourself about a month when swelling goes down & your getting back to normal.Height: 5'0"Weight for WLS consultation: 216 lbs.Surgery date: 2/13/17Goal: -71 lbs for healthy BMI (about 145 lbs).Current weight: 145 lbs, now ready to lose 15 more past goal.My profile picture is not me.
