allie2 40 Posted September 30, 2017 BCBS (Ohio). I have 6 months of dietary visits and I just finished visit #3. I will be done with them in mid-October at which time they will send my information to my insurance for approval. My surgeon estimated a late November or dearly December surgery. I have BC/BS Maine. I had to provide evidence of 6 consecutive months of attempted weight loss. I joined WW online, and did monthly weigh-ins at my primary Drs. Office. My program navigator submitted my primary drs. letter on a Tuesday, and had my insurance approval by that Friday. I was stunned, and relieved so quick.
