fleab123 13 Posted July 26, 2017 I have a few things going on and just wondering if this is normal?1. My left shoulder and neck stillHurt from the CO2 has. It's starting to freak me out. I walked and stretch as much as I can . When does this referred gas pain go away?!? This has been the hardest part of the surgery for me so far.2. Every single sip I take whether it's the liquid pain med, Water or Isopure Protein shake(made with water) it feels like my stomach spasms. Am I doing something wrong?3. Hurts to take deep breaths. I use my incentive spiro several times each hour but it's still awfully painful to breath deeply.4. Did anyone experience really low heartbeat after their surgery? They did an EKG before I left the hospital and it looked good and since I had no other symptoms associated with slow HB they said I would be ok but I am averaging In the low 50's now. I n the hospital it was always Around 48. MAkes me nervous!
Waler 330 Posted July 26, 2017 The deep breath and shoulder thing will go in time, and the spasms are probably due to your stomach being not happy right now after surgery. I too have a low pulse rate, if I go to anyone other than my regular doc I usually get the raised eye brow look. But always check with your doc if you are concerned, no sense stressing when you can make a phone call. 1 fleab123 reacted to this
Missy161 395 Posted July 27, 2017 Try some peppermint tea and see if that helps your spasms. It really helped meMich WHw 223, SW 217 CW 197.4 GW 135 1 southernbellair79 reacted to this
NikkiWorldJourney 70 Posted July 27, 2017 Yes all normal! I had all of those. Gas pains are bad the whole first week. Low HR is from the pain meds. I had it too. 1 fleab123 reacted to this
