Mersh 173 Posted July 25, 2017 So my wife who is a RN just pointed out that I probably have thrush. Which is a yeast imbalance in my mouth. Likely from antibiotics. My tongue has this white film on it and my teeth feel fuzzy regardless how much I brush and use mouth wash. Anyone else experience this?
Berry78 4,261 Posted July 25, 2017 Sure did. I took lots of yogurt and Probiotics, and it cleared up on its own by 6 or 8 weeks postop. 1 Missy161 reacted to this

Anyone else experience this?I had this happen a couple of weeks after surgery (exactly as you are describing). It looked and felt pretty gross! I was able to get a prescription for an oral anti-fungal medication and it cleared it up after a week or so. Good luck to you!Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using BariatricPal mobile app 1 Missy161 reacted to this

It was caused by taking the antibiotics.
Mersh 173 Posted July 28, 2017 I went to the DR and he said mine was likely nothing but gave me meds just in case.. So 1 week of swishing some other gross thing and I'll be good to go again.
