7 months! Wow! You look so gorgeous and young! I'm 38 and also 5'7, I hope I look even half as good as you when I get close to my goal weight! My goal personal weight is 150-155. I have about 100 to lose to get there and I should be able to finally schedule my surgery next month. Enjoy the single life, I find it is so much more peaceful and happier than being in a bad relationship. You are doing & looking so fabulous! [emoji254][emoji177]

You are hot! You did the right thing re the divorce. It feels good to me to not have someone treating me badly in my home too! I can only wish for the success you've had.

Hi Seeetie and thank you!!!! God has seen me thru this trivial journey and has never let me down. I trust and lean on him for everything. I owe him everything. I am loving my new life and so happy that I was finally brave enough to leave and mean it.

I'll be getting divorced soon as well. Mine IS because of the surgery. I had an ultimatum. He said if I did the surgery he would divorce me. My gastric bypass was June 16th! Soooo...there ya go!
I have a long journey ahead of me, but I've already disowned 52 pounds from my body, and loads of weight from stress! I feel so very much better!

It feels awesome... I am 3 lbs from my goal weight of 150 lbs n I am so pleased with how this turned out ,.. only complication from surgery was a divorce ,lol. Thank you hun for encouraging words and I wish you the best inyour journey as well .

Thank You. I'm about 20 pounds from my goal of 180, I'm 5'10", but I keep stalling the last month. I was stuck at 207lbs for a month, dropped 7 pounds in two weeks and now I'm stalled at 200 for over a week. I know it will pass but being so close to goal and stalling is frustrating. Still 101 pounds in a year, 71 since surgery, not to shabby :)

I'm sorry you are going thru this turmoil. I know the stress alone is a killer but stay focused, eat and don't skip meals, exercise and take your Vitamins. You will do awesome. N who needs him anyway.... telling you if you choose life he's gone, well guess what , boy bye✌🏽.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
