KansasDelta 3 Posted July 22, 2017 Hi Everyone, Do you have a specific app that works really well for tracking your food intake & exercises? I'm in week 1 of my 8 week pre-op class and they've already got us working on revising our diet and increasing exercising. So two that came up during class were MyFitnessPal and Baritastic. Does anyone have any feedback on either of those, or any others? Thanks!
jess9395 5,449 Posted July 22, 2017 I used My Fitness Pal daily till I got to goal and loved it. So easy to use and syncs with my scale and my running app (Map My Run). I've been in maintenance for three years and still use it to check in once in a while to make sure I'm still on track. 3 XYZXYZXYZ1955, KansasDelta and ProudGrammy reacted to this
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted July 22, 2017 I use LoseIt. I saw some people on IG that use Baritastic it looks pretty cool. Honestly the best thing to do it download several and try them all then decide on what you like. They all do the same thing, just differently so it is personal preference. 3 jess9395, TheBearguy8 and KansasDelta reacted to this

XYZXYZXYZ1955 675 Posted July 23, 2017 I just signed up for My Fitness Pal--it looks useful and I'll just be using it on my laptop, as I don't have a smartphone, etc. I think it's going to teach me some new things, but I also think it's important just to be aware and track, whatever app you use. CattMyst 48 Posted July 23, 2017 I have to say that Baritastic is pretty awesome! Nice, clean interface, links with lots of other apps, recipes offered. My hubby even uses it, even though he's not getting Sx, just to monitor the dailies! catt

jess9395 5,449 Posted July 23, 2017 Cronometer is best. Tracks your micronutrients as well.My fitness pal does that as well. It used to be part of the "free" app but I think you may need to upgrade for that now

summerset 5,265 Posted November 13, 2017 It offers quite a lot for free already and the lifelong subscription (if you want it) is quite ok as well.
