But you can have a statement to the effect of "PM me for my website address, it's VERY interesting." You aren't breaking any of the TOS, then.

That's true.

Of course, since my last post reveals the truth about SandyR, you could always just PM them a link to it.

When Sandy began this stuff, Angela, whose hobby is mental conditions, sent me this link:

Narcissistic personality disorder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I thought this part of the article was interesting:

"Diagnostic criteria

At least five of the following are necessary for a diagnosis (as with many DSM diagnoses, they must form a pervasive pattern; for example, a person who shows these criteria only in one or two relationships or situations would not properly be diagnosed with NPD):

  1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance
  2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
  3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by other special people
  4. requires excessive admiration
  5. strong sense of entitlement
  6. takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
  7. lacks empathy
  8. is often envious or believes others are envious of him or her
  9. arrogant behavior"

Wendell, you should contact Dr. Kuri and tell him that Sandy's implicated him in breaking US law. Maybe that'll light a fire under her.

That pretty much says it all. Sandy's a liar. And according to the courts, a thief.

There are some statements that are so perfect and true that one simply cannot add anything to them.

Unfortunately, Wendell, I won't be PMing anyone anything at OH. I had them delete my account after I got attacked by Psycho-Bitch.

Oh, I'm quite certain that some Kuri patients will have questions for him about this eventually.

And let him know that she did it on a major surgery board that has thousands of people visiting it. His reputation's at stake.

I understand completely.

Well, as they used to say:

"The truth is out there"

Well, all Dr. Kuri would have to do is read this thread to understand who his "Patient Educator" really is.

Or he could just pick up the telephone and call Dr. Neal.

They already have. A few have canceled surgery when they discovered Sandy was working for him on a contractual basis.

Well, if I found out that my surgeon employed former Nurses whose licenses were revoked in 2 different states, I would cancel my surgery too!

She's been claiming for so long that she works for Kuri that nobody believed her. When they discovered that for once it is actually true they canceled surgery.

Can't say I blame them.

Say, did you ever see this post?

Compare the post to what Dr. Neals office manager said to me when I contacted them about this.

I'm halfway tempted to go to Dr. Kuri's website and send them an email about what Sandy said about him violating US law, just to see what the reply was. Might be interesting. Heck, might get her fired. It's more and more tempting, the more I think about it.

Well, you know what they say, giving in to temptation is FUN!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
