mytime4me 83 Posted July 18, 2017 I like so many of you will be starting on the road of a healthier me- my sleeve surgery is set for 28-Jul. I've begun the "fun" process of withdrawing from all the bad things that I ate and drink to make myself feel better. Now the hard work begins. Although I am so excited to make these long over due changes, I find my excitement is turning to nervousness (aka W T F am I doing...) but my course remains unchanged - steam rolling on to the new and healthier me. As I am getting ready (both physically and mentally) - I was hoping I could lean on this group for their experience. Was there anything you weren't prepared for the first few weeks after surgery and knowing what you know now - would you do anything differently? How long did it take for you to feel "normal" again? Any thoughts would be so appreciated -Allison 1 Sheralyn2017 reacted to this
lillybee 26 Posted July 18, 2017 Allison, I am so excited that you are ready for your new journey! Just remember to breathe and take time for yourself. I made sure to clean and stock my pantry. I was a little scared at first too. But looking back I would do it all again! [emoji7] 2 Missy161 and mytime4me reacted to this
mytime4me 83 Posted July 18, 2017 Thanks Walker75 It looks like you are fresh out of surgery and I hope you are doing great. I guess its a good sign that you would still do it again!! That's an excellent tip about cleaning out the pantry. I have a 2 and 3 year old and have already made my husband eat or throw out all of the kids stuff that would appeal to me...haha Hope you are feeling great! 3 New Beginnings 78, lillybee and Missy161 reacted to this

Missy161 395 Posted July 18, 2017 I didn't expect it to be so hard to get my fluids in. I still have a hard time getting more than 48 oz in a day.Mich WHw 223, SW 217 CW 200 GW
