KB 7 Posted July 18, 2017 I drink a lot of fluids and for the past few weeks my urine is not a lot at all even in the morning when my urine is spose to be a lot has this happened to anybody else ?? Same here!! And it's much darker like I haven't been drinking as many fluids. I'm trying to drink more Water, to see if there's any difference.
Berry78 4,261 Posted July 18, 2017 Assuming you're in the northern hemisphere, the summer weather will dry you out extra quickly. Try to get your fluids up to 100oz and see if you see a difference. (I'm one to talk.. I'm constantly slightly dehydrated too, so am also trying to get my fluids up ). 1 MSinger reacted to this

Having the same problem. My doctor just called and told me come over to do labs because it's not normal.
Berry78 4,261 Posted July 18, 2017 Jiminy said in her other post that she was only peeing once or twice a day. The minimum should be 4 times a day, so ayanna.. if you are also only going a couple times a day, you should also talk to your doc. I just assumed you are going frequently enough, just having decreased output. Of course, when in doubt, always contact your doctor. My MIL has a UTI right now, out of the blue, and I'm sure it's from not drinking enough for the hot weather. (Causing dehydration, causing concentrated urine, allowing the bacteria to take hold). Drink, Drink, Drink.. and if you're still not peeing, get to the doc.

DedicatedLady 139 Posted July 18, 2017 How on earth is there a minimum number of times someone should be peeing a day? That's like saying everyone should poop at least once a day or else their weirdos. There can't be a minimum on that, where did you get this number from? gwbicster 257 Posted July 18, 2017 My doc uses this number as well. I found it weird- I actually never counted, but I felt like my urine was OK.

Umm.. good question, and I honestly don't know where I got the number, but the average person goes 6-8 times a day, so 4 being a minimum isn't unreasonable. Apparently gwbicster's doc concurs. Google it yourself and see what you turn up...
leiaD 62 Posted July 19, 2017 Wow I'm only going like twice and my urine is darker than normal. I'm trying to get more Water in. I'm 3.5 weeks post op, so between the nausea and sleeping from feeling tired and weak... it's work 1 Berry78 reacted to this
