Post op pain control with fibromyalgia.

If you have chronic pain from fibromyalgia how do you control your pain post op to limit opiate use? I need o have suggestions for my pre-op visit. Thank you in advance for your help.

Are you on something for fibromyalgia pain like Lyrica? I use that, a tens machine, and tylenol.

I was on cymbalta that was changed to fluoxetine and amitriptyline in 2007. I use a lot of Advil and receive a prescription for 45 Tylenol #3 every 6 month and a prescription for flexeril too. I use essential oils, and Arnica Montana topical rubs.

Check out lowdosenaltrexone.org. It's the first thing stanford clinics use for cfs/fibromyalgia (has been for years), but a lot of drs don't know about it. It helped me a lot with diffuse body pain. Also modulates my immune system so I don't get sick as often.
