Old2NewMe 73 Posted July 14, 2017 I was dreading having to start this preop diet (which for me is just shakes, sf popsicles, and broth). Been on it for 9 days... now I'm dreading having to get off my shakes for the Clear Liquids on Sunday! LOL smh 4 sunmeadow, LifesJourney, GotProlactinoma and 1 other reacted to this
sunmeadow 82 Posted July 15, 2017 I'm in the same boat. I think it's definitely going to get worse for awhile before it gets better again. At some point soon, we're really going to be looking forward to eating baby food. . Heck, I'm excited at the idea of having an egg or cottage cheese again someday. 2 jenique and GotProlactinoma reacted to this

sunmeadow 82 Posted July 15, 2017 Yes!!! lol I can't wait to try a scrambled egg and have mashed potatoes or cream of wheat smh :-)4.5 weeks after my surgery, I'm traveling to participate in a charity 5K in support of a friend. We all went last year and stayed at the same hotel next to a well-known local truck stop/diner.Every time I think about the trip, I get excited thinking about how delicious those mashed potatoes are going to be! That's about the only thing on the menu I'll be able to eat! Last night, I actually looked up their menu just to see.Doing the walk 60+ lbs lighter than last year is going to be awesome though. 3 momof2littleones, LisasLearning and Beijaflor reacted to this
