Sherrie Scharbrough 311 Posted July 13, 2017 If it keeps up I would ask your DR to do a ENDOSCOPE, you might just have a Strictures. Easy fix they dialate it during your ENDOSCOPE with a balloon. They said it is kind of like scar tissue and it makes it hard to eat and keep it down. Just a thought. Good Luck
AdorableAsian34 5 Posted July 14, 2017 It is actually very common to throw up a lot. your body is adjusting. i had my surgery done at the number bariatric facility in the nation. i had excellent care and support. i have had follow up exams and ct scans and everything is right as rain. i have close to fifty friends who have done this with all different doctors and states and they all went through the throwing up stages. sometimes spices or stuff you used to eat that you can eat will still upset your stomach. it even says when you start introducing new foods that if it makes you sick try again later on. I have done extensive research and had a ton of prep classes.
NikkiPen 51 Posted July 14, 2017 My surgeon teaches that vomiting is not good, as your stomach or pouch is healing. They don't even want us to have nausea. I have a reglan script that I usually take before dinner, as the end of the day is tougher to get my food in. It immediately helps with all that. I vomited once, in the hospital, few hours after surgery and that's it. Nausea is a different story, I have that frequently, then I take a tiny pill [emoji16]HW 370, SW 350, SD 6/20/
AdorableAsian34 5 Posted July 14, 2017 A gastric sleeve is different from a Divided RNY. A gastric sleeve still maintains the body's normal functions with a different stomach. I've talked to several bariatric specialist and everything I Am doing is all normal. Sometimes you can't feel the fullness in your pouch and you throw up because 2 tablespoons of something over filled it. Trust me I am a researching health nut. I had other complicated issues that had nothing to do with food addictions the reason I was overweight .
