Booked with Dra Cardenas today!

Recommended Posts

So I spoke with the kind lady at Beauty Enhance after the doctor reviewed my photos and made a recommendation. I decided to go with a royal lower body lift for the first procedure in my journey. I scheduled for this fall. I am beyond excited! Trying to think how I break this news to my boss....

Will you speak with PS before you head down? Best to you?

Dr Cardenas is in Baja Mexico. The royal lower body lift includes seven procedures in one. It is for 1) Circumferential skin resection 360° Incision + (2) Muscle repair + (3) Pubic lift and reduction + (4) outer thigh lift + (5) buttocks lift + (6) liposuction to waist, love-handle and some to thighs + (7) Fat transfer to buttocks + (8) Fat Transfer to hips.

I am not sure about speaking with her prior to surgery. I would assume at some point this would happen. Probably closer to actual surgery. I sent in my deposit today.

How exciting for you! I booked with her as well. I just moved my date up to August 30th! So excited and nervous. I'm starting with BL/BA. I don't heal the fastest so I want to see how I do with the healing and scarring before I move on to the Royal lower body lift. I'm so tempted to start with the RBL, she does such good work!

What was the initial quote? And your stats? How long have you been in maintenence? Thanks.

Yes they gave me a very thorough quote. I talked it over with a lady in their office.

They had a special on her site for 10,500 for the royal body lift package.
Starting was 266
Goal is 130
Right now 146

I'm still losing but have slowed a lot. I have so much extra skin though it is ridiculous.

I'm 90% sure I'm going with Dr. Cardenas too. Will have the plastics in different stages because I'm an older WLS patient (52 now) with lots of excess skin. One thing that is holding me back is that 23 months out, I'm finding it harder to keep the bad habits at bay and am toying with getting therapy for behavior modification and stabilizing a bit better (behaviorally, i.e., controlling nighttime binges) before going under the knife. Congratulations on moving forward with you plans and please keep the updates coming!

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a royal body lift?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
