Hi,

This is all new to me. Including the chatting. I have been on the road to getting a gastric bypass surgery. Just waiting on the Okay from the insurance company. This all start in Feb. of 2007. Needless to say I am down 70 pounds and I am now considering the lapband while the insurance continues to drag their feet. I have considered the risks factors and I'm a pretty sure this is a better options for me, although I have a long way to go.

Hi Blessed. I love being banded. I think the weight loss is a little slower though. I'm 16 months post op and have lost about 65 lbs.

I feel that way too. I loved being band and I feel God knew what he was doing when he put us together it is just our mismanaging that got us here. I have been band for 5 months and have lost 43 pounds. I feel a whole lot healthier and I'm not sleeping my life away any more.
