kimberb 323 Posted July 6, 2017 Ask your Bariatric team. They are the ones that have the correct answer for YOUR situation. I was 3 months out before I had any. 2 Missy161 and jess9395 reacted to this

AZLoser 103 Posted July 11, 2017 No popcorn or nuts for the first 4 months minimum for safety. None for the first year if you're trying to lose weight. High calories and no benefit. Farmers feed corn to animals to fatten them up. It works the same for humans.
DCT 4 Posted July 13, 2017 My nutritionist said I couldn't ever eat popcorn after surgery. I don't remember the reason. 🤦🏻♀️
Sullie06 1,013 Posted July 14, 2017 My nut said 10 weeks. I've eaten popcorn a hand full of times since then. I have an air popper and it's really good with a little sea salt. 1 Sosewsue61 reacted to this
gemigirl 134 Posted July 14, 2017 My nutritionist said popcorn is a slider food so it's not great to eat, but I could try it at 3 months post-op. I have it once in awhile but it's definitely a slider, which is annoying! I measure and track.
