Hi All - am posting this in the 2009 and 2008 sub-forums. I am considering getting VSG. I read some recent research that suggests there can be weight regain of 30 - 40% 10 years after surgery. Apologies if this question is inappropriate in any way, but could any of the members who got VSG in this time frame comment on their experience, 8, 9, 10 years out with respect to ability to maintain weight-loss, and share some insights into the issues / challenges.       The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
