hectorlopez323 60 Posted July 3, 2017 I had rny in may. I've been pretty strict with myself so far, 'I'm curious if anyone had quinoa after 4 or 5 months post op???Sent from my SM-J700T using BariatricPal mobile app
blondie66 271 Posted July 5, 2017 No I'm 2 years post op and it hurts my stomach...and I can eat most things. But quinoa and corn chips not nice! At 5 months u could probably have a little rice or couscous. Potatoes are good and easy to digest.
Delete my account 22 Posted July 5, 2017 Everything is going to be a learning experience. What some can tolerate others cannot. With that said I am 4 weeks out and I am allowed brown rice or quinoa granted I have yet to try them because they terrify me lol. blondie66 271 Posted July 7, 2017 Wow never is a long time!! Lol whatever works for you. I'm 2 years post op so can eat most things but rice very filling and quinoa hurts my stomach so I never eat it. But rice and bread, crackers all those simple carbs slow down weight loss best to wait till close or at goal to maintain.
