dennisdj 25 Posted July 2, 2017 I was supposed to start a week ago but I just went cold turkey today. I hope I didn't mess up my chances to have my surgery on the 11th!
Dimples58 167 Posted July 3, 2017 You should be fine. It's hard to start any diet around the holidays. Good luck in your new lifestyle journey! 1 dennisdj reacted to this
XYZXYZXYZ1955 675 Posted July 3, 2017 Be honest with your surgeon and see what he/she says. The last thing you want is for it to be rescheduled after they put you under, put some incisions in, and realize they can't do it! (And I'm not saying that's what would happen.) 1 dennisdj reacted to this
Rivka7NV 40 Posted July 3, 2017 The purpose of the pre-op diet is to get rid of some of the fat around your liver so it is easier to move aside and get to the stomach. One cannot make up for lost time but you can move forward and pay strict attention to the 3 major factors - Water, exercise and food intake. 1 dennisdj reacted to this
