PrayingForWeightLoss 337 Posted July 19, 2017 Casey you are right. Going with private is a better option. I joined NIB 12 months ago and I am getting sleeved July the 28th. With public health not only is the wait very long but you have to have a lot of health problems to qualify. 1 Debmelb reacted to this
zoegastricsleeve 3 Posted July 19, 2017 Hey Casey, have you considered getting money out of your super to pay for it instead of waiting?
crushingit 24 Posted August 3, 2017 Hi. I'm new to the forum. I'm in Perth and have just booked my appointments with the psychologist, physician, dietitian and surgeon for August-September. I'm new too and from Perth and am booked in for the end of October. I'm excited to get this all underway! I had to push my surgery date back, they wanted to schedule me in for early September but that was too quick to get the leave at work booked in, in time. So things move nicely and I'm sure you'll find the same!I'm already making changes in my lifestyle pre-op like going hiking over the weekend and eating smaller meals (even avoiding dessert at my family's birthday dinner!) [emoji5][emoji5][emoji5]Yup, I decided to do the same so then after the surgery people won't see me drastically change my habits. I'm trying to avoid making it so obvious that something is up. I don't want to attract questions. 1 arcwls reacted to this

I think it's a good way to get your head around the lifestyle change as well! [emoji846]
