Finding Erika 61 Posted July 1, 2017 Hey Sylvia Does your doc have you on a PPI like Protonix or Prevacid? Most patients come on them- if not you can get Prevacid OTC- ask your doc first but they really help! Plus they keep your hunger down as that starts to come back- keep us posted
XYZXYZXYZ1955 675 Posted July 1, 2017 I'd suggest talking to your doctor--I've been on a prescription called Protonix since I had my gall bladder out. Works great for me. 1 sylvia2017 reacted to this

NYCGAL000 59 Posted July 1, 2017 Do Gas X strips work? I just bought $40 worth so they better!
clk 3,519 Posted July 2, 2017 Generic omeprazole, don't even need a prescription. Get one, but you need the medicine now. Prevacid doesn't work as well. The pill will be fine, just take it like normal. I'm still on a PPI and if I go 3 days without it I'm in misery. I sometimes get a script, sometimes just buy it. You need it daily. 3 sylvia2017, jacqueline5678 and ProudGrammy reacted to this
Navigating the Wilderness 824 Posted July 2, 2017 Everyone one on here is right. A PPI should fix you up. Just be careful because long-term use (as in years) of a PPI has some negative side effects. 2 ProudGrammy and sylvia2017 reacted to this
