shericrazylady 113 Posted July 1, 2017 IDK of I've posted on the right place did anyone experience crying and fear of being lonely after surgery I know it's normal but how did you cope with this? Sent from my A1601 using BariatricPal mobile app
Navigating the Wilderness 824 Posted July 1, 2017 Burning fat releases estrogen, so you are correct that it is common to have crazy emotions. As for dealing with them, just remember it is not permanent, and it will get better. If you are completely overwhelmed, there is no harm in seeing a psychologist. 2 RedOrangeSunrise and ProudGrammy reacted to this

jenzds75 15 Posted July 1, 2017 My hubby went out of town a day after I came home from surgery! I came to this group a lot for support. And I played a lot of mindless bubble popping games lol 4 linah, shericrazylady, Val Rennee and 1 other reacted to this

Have you cleared that with your surgeon? I would hate for you to get a surprise on the day of surgery. 1 Val Rennee reacted to this
hardwork&dedication 96 Posted July 2, 2017 No, I havent. But I thought they just meant unless you have a ride because you arent supposed to drive? 1 Val Rennee reacted to this
shericrazylady 113 Posted July 2, 2017 I think maybe it's because of the medications. I had my mum take me home as partner doesn't drive but I feel like you need that support because it's an emotional rollercoaster until you work out what's going on and getting in your new routine.some people are different though some won't be emotionalSent from my A1601 using BariatricPal mobile app
Val Rennee 18 Posted July 2, 2017 I wish you all the best. Thus group has been a good support to me because not all my friends and family understand what this feels like. So emotionally, just try to stay focused and do reach out to people that have similar issues and that may help. I'm 5 days post op and I'm doing well. I do have a lot of support but I'm Journaling to help with emotions!! 2 LaLa Ladybug and RedOrangeSunrise reacted to this
