lillybee 26 Posted June 30, 2017 Hi all! I have the sleeve on 6-21-17. I do not have a history of high blood pressure. Usually mine is well within the normal range. After surgery it was high and continues to be 140/94 it hangs around there. Plus my pulse it higher than normal. I called my doctor and was told not to worry and that they will monitor it and I should be fine. What could be causing this? Can dehydration cause HBP? Navigating the Wilderness 824 Posted July 1, 2017 Chronic dehydration can most certainly cause high blood pressure. It can also cause low blood pressure. Go figure. If your doctor is not worried, I would not spend too much time fretting over it. I would however be persistent about calling them if the HBP continues.
