Nursing/pumping after RNY

I have a soon to be 4 month old who I am pumping for...will I still be able to do that post op? Will it take too much out of me? Will I be able to consume enough Fluid to continue?

Anyone have a similar experience?

I don't but I'm sure a lactation consultant can help you out. I'm sure as long as you stay hydrated you'll be ok.

I'm a nursing mom of a 10 month old. I was also an exclusive pumper with my second daughter. I'm trying to wean my baby at a year because I doubt I will produce enough for her after surgery. I drink around 120 oz of Water a day now and after surgery I know I won't be able to drink that much. I'm trying to start pumping now to have a stash to use.
