Didn't tell my sister

My sister is just like yours. Negative Nelly. If I get sick she's jealous that I'm getting attention and she isn't. She's always been that way...she's 74 so I guess she's not going to change.

I chose not to tell my daughter who is bipolar because she uses this kind of info as a weapon. I love her but I have to protect myself from her. In my family I only told my husband and one of my 4 children (aged 14-20) I told the 18 year old. She has been a great support. When my sister thought I was getting wls she panicked. I assured her I wasn't getting that done.
I feel awful lying to them, but really, this is my story and I have the right to share it with those I feel will not use it against me Or violate my trust.
Chin up. Take her comments for what they are worth.
Sometimes people are so used to seeing is heavy that they think we look sick because we are losing weight. They'll get used to it!
