speechick1969 22 Posted July 1, 2017 I thought it was just me. I kept thinking, it's my stomach, I think I should take it with me! 1 Half-Tum reacted to this
Mhy12784 423 Posted July 2, 2017 Just an FYI for most people who have not yet had surgery. Many laparscopic towers have camera boxes with a hard drive built in. If you asked your surgeon and bring in a flash drive I'm sure many would gladly record your surgery and give you a copy if you asked nicely (it's literally two button presses for them). Obviously it would only show you the internal portion of your surgery (which really is the only cool part to see anyway) 1 GBLady41 reacted to this
LetGoJo 27 Posted July 5, 2017 I was mainly concerned about my liver (and asked my surgeon to show video/photos of it), which I have a high res photo paper of: I would have liked to see video of the whole thing being done, but it's cool seeing this.. likely the only clear picture I'll ever see inside my abdominal cavity.Looks health
smg 471 Posted July 7, 2017 I received before/after photos with the surgery report. It's pretty standard that they take photos.

Myaiku_Kuraitani 245 Posted July 30, 2017 That's so cool. I wanted my surgeon to do that but I completely forgot to ask about it the day of my surgery. It would have been cool to see my own insides. Wanting that isn't weird at all.
