Sleeved3.29.17 19 Posted June 28, 2017 Have you ever experienced any dental issues that began post-surgery? I feel like my teeth/gums have become more sensitive, but it may just be in my head.
southerncharmgal 14 Posted June 28, 2017 Oh Lord this concerns me. I have some sinus issues on and off and that's the indicator I get. I'll be watching to see if anyone else posts.
Joann454 1,329 Posted June 28, 2017 How far out from surgery are you? I just went to the dentist today and he didn't mention any changes. I'm five weeks out. Too soon maybe?
PatientEleventyBillion 851 Posted June 28, 2017 I can see dental issues arising with severe reflux.. Beyond that, likely imagination, or would be from not taking care of teeth by default. 1 Khaleesi Kim reacted to this

My dentist told me that she sees bariatric patients come in as a result of GERD causing sensitivity issues. She put me on a medicated toothpaste (for sensitive teeth) because I have a sensitive tooth. I am pre-op and just had my 4/6 weigh-in. She said, if I start it now, if I have GERD issues, it will be unlikely to have any issues with my teeth. Edited June 30, 2017 by JT2002TJ
