Shower at night and first thing in am. Making sure I don't get germs and get sick. Super good luck tomorrow, all will be in God's hands, and he will be right their with our surgeon! donnaminors 10 Posted June 28, 2017 Woah! Surgery completed successfully! I've been knocked out most ofthe day, so I'm just getting to respond. Here's a few tips, Ive learned thus far: 1. BRING LIP BALM 2. MUST HAVE THE GAS STRIOS 3. DON'T FORGET A ROBE, UNLESS YOU LIKE TO SHOW YOUR BUTT...LOL 4. WALK, WALK, AND THEN WALK SOME MORE. THIS TECHNIQUE PLUS THE GAS STRIPS...PRICELESS. 5. Try to RELAX...although easier said than done. .. My pain is minimal for now. I've been sipping on hot Water, cold water and my beloved ice chips. No hungry craving. Maybe I'll admit, I was worried for nothing. Good luck to each of you! 3 bigperm, nikki7 and Finding_Stacy reacted to this

donnaminors 10 Posted June 29, 2017 So today is post op day 2...had some Jello this morning. Feels like a lot of pressure, kinda like the overeating feeling. It's taken me 2 hours to finish a 4oz cup. I go home today and I'm trying to figure some mushy meal plans. That's suppose to start tomorrow. 1 bcl1628 reacted to this
NikkiWorldJourney 70 Posted June 29, 2017 I'm post op day two as well. Can't do the Jello. Just trying to get an ounce of Water down every half hour. Not easy. Better than yesterday though. Throat is killing me.
paradise 19 Posted July 1, 2017 I had Gastric Bypass on June 27 I drink 1 oz of Water every 15 min. I've added in 1 oz shots of Protein Shakes. I had 1 oz of Cream of Wheat and 1 oz sugar free pudding for Breakfast . My pain is minimal and mostly caused by gas. I walked 1500 steps this morning and another 1500 before lunch. I am wondering why I am not experiencing the same things everyone else. I'm not complaining. It just worries me that maybe my surgery didn't work. Is their anyone else having little to no issues with fluids going down? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using BariatricPal mobile app
