char3672 292 Posted June 27, 2017 I don't have the support I need and the pain is terrible. If there is anyone who can understand and relate to my situation please reply.I may not be the best person to reply, but I can tell you that the first week for me was the hardest! I didn't have pain, but I couldn't drink! I craved Water so bad, but I just COULD NOT drink. I am now 12 days post op, and things are 95% better. I can drink with no problem and I have started eating. I still get tired easily, but each day is a little better. Hang in there, you will do great. One day at a time!!!Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app 2 BloomingOrchids and PatsyDB reacted to this
Chrissy444 7 Posted June 27, 2017 Hi I'm 3 days post op and still very sore, each day it has got a little better but my advice would be to keep up the pain medicine, I was trying to be brave and not have the strong stuff last night and wish I had now, make sure haven't got a temperature with the pain in case it's an infection, we will get through this then we can Celebrate life! 3 BloomingOrchids, PatsyDB and char3672 reacted to this
BloomingOrchids 2 Posted June 27, 2017 Thank you so much 😊 for responding and I will keep up with my pain medication. It's too late for regrets so I will try to be more positive! 2 char3672 and PatsyDB reacted to this
rudy7306 14 Posted June 27, 2017 I am almost 5 months out and it gets better I promise. I was hurting for the first 3 weeks after surgery, but each day I could do more. Don't sit around, try to do extra each day and you will heal quicker and you will generally feel better. you can do this.
